Two months testing VW California accessories — road report

Over the past few years we’ve been gaining experience by testing different solutions on the move. Now another test is ahead of us — two months living in our Volkswagen California. 15,000 km across Turkish off-road tracks and Greek coastlines, sleeping wild, daily life in the van — we’ll see what actually works and what doesn’t.

Not just a tech test

This won’t be a purely technical story. We’ll show you places that are hard to find in guidebooks. We’ll head far down the southern coast where time runs differently, visit the iconic Mavikent, then turn into the mountain trails where the asphalt ends. We’ll drive into national parks, find empty beaches, and see what daily life looks like off the tourist track. There will be variety — from seaside calm to raw mountain landscapes. We’ll meet people who will show us a different side of Turkey. What exactly is waiting for us? We’ll see when we get there. We start in 12 days.
